Shakib-Al-Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman to miss initial phase of IPL 2017

New Delhi: Bangladesh Cricketers Shakib-Al-Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are set to miss initial phase of the Indian Premier League which begins on April 5.


Shakib and Rahman will travel with the Bangladesh squad to play series in Sri Lanka.


The Bangladesh cricket team will play 2 Tests, 3 ODI’s and 2 T20I’s


Although, Bangladesh suffered heavy defeat against India, Shakib demonstrated his ability to play on Indian conditions.


However, Mustafizur missed one-off Test match against India due to injury is all set to return against Sri Lanka.


Both players were retained by their respective franchises. Shakib plays for Kolkata Knight Riders and Mustafizur played an important role in Sunrisers Hyderdabad’s title chase in 2016
