Pakistan Super League 2024: Players Receive 70% Payment, To Receive The Rest At The End Of The League

Pakistan Super League 2024: The Pakistan Super League is in its 9th edition and is off to a flyer with a string of close and entertaining matches. The league has 6 teams and each of them is contesting to get their hands on the elusive title. Lahore Qalanadars are the two-time defending champions of the league and these are the following teams in the league:
- Lahore Qalandars
- Multan Sultans
- Quetta Gladiators
- Karachi Kings
- Islamabad United
- Peshawar Zalmi
The Lahore Qalandars are led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, Multan Sultans are led by Mohammad Rizwan, Peshawar Zalmi are led by Babar Azam, Quetta Gladiators are led by Rilee Rossouw, Karachi Kings are led by Shan Masood, and Islamabad United are led by Shadab Khan. Only Quetta have a foreigner as their captain, rest all the sides are captained by current and active Pakistan players.
The Pakistan Cricket Board, on Saturday, February 24, have announced that the participating players have received their 70% of the salary and the remaining will be received at the end of the season.

"In the ongoing HBL PSL, participating cricketers have received their compensations. According to the agreements, over 70% of the amount has been paid to most. The remaining amount will be given after the league. Most players have also received a daily allowance of $50. The rate of the dollar has been fixed at 281 PKR. Thus, each player is receiving Rs. 14,000 per day," read the official statement.
"Upon the decision of the teams in the playoffs stage, the payment for the matches thereafter will also be made. On the other hand, team owners are conditionally allowed to sit in the dugout. They need to inform the organizers in advance. Then, they are not allowed to go anywhere during the match. If they leave, they cannot return to the dugout. They are also not allowed to carry mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other communication devices," the apex institution for cricket in Pakistan further stated.
