Pakistan Opt To Bat First In New York
Meanwhile, the toss might have been delayed due to rain but when it did happen, Pakistan captain Babar Azam chose to bowl first. Babar confirmed that they had gone in with four fast bowlers and with overcast conditions, it was an easy decision to have a bowl against India in this match.
While India are coming into this match, having beaten Ireland in their first match, Pakistan had succumbed to a shock defeat against the United States of America (USA) in their tournament opener, making it a high pressure game for the Men in Green.
