Mumbai: Nutritionists say, "You are what you eat". Well, Indian captain Virat Kohli's obsession with fitness is not new but he seemed to have taken the said slogan very seriously.
In a recent Q&A session on Instagram, India's desirable and fit captain Virat Kohli revealed a lot about how he manages to remain fit. He also shared what he likes to eat and what keeps him going every day. Captain Kohli gave a list of things he eats throughout his day.
"Lot of vegetables, Some eggs, 2 cups of coffee, dal, quinoa, lots of spinach, love dosas too," he wrote in an Instagram story. But in the very next line wrote: "All in controlled quantities"
Virat Kohli also wrote: "Lot of Indian food simply cooked and sometimes Chinese too. Almonds, protein bar, fruits."
Virat Kohli's diet is what we all must aim for. A healthy life is a must for the Indian captain and thus, he encourages others in the team to be fit as well. In the Q&A session, he also answered other questions bout his life and from India's dressing room. He mentioned that Chahal is the funniest in the team while AB De Villiers is the smartest.
When a fan asked Kohli to share a glimpse of his baby girl, the cricketer said that he and his wife have decided not to expose their child to social media.
“No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice,” Kohli wrote.
Kohli is currently in Mumbai undergoing quarantine before leaving for England on June 2 to play the World Test Championship Final on June 18.
