Jerome Taylor claims Hat-trick in domestic cricket
New Delhi: Jerome Taylor, who recently took an abrupt about-turn and announced his return to cricket from retirement, recorded a hat-trick against Essex in the Royal London One-day cup.
The West Indian pacer had the opening batsman Varun Chopra and then Tom Westley caught off successive deliveries in the fifth over.
The fast bowler then clinched the hat-trick when he bowled to the No4 batsman, Adam Wheater, who was adjudged lbw.
Having won the toss, Sussex invited Essex to bat first. Former England Test skipper Alaistar Cook was unbeaten on 76 till the last update.
