Jasprit Bumrah hits out at Jaipur Police for 'don't cross the line' billboard

New Delhi: Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is not happy with Jaipur Traffic Police using his no ball image from the ICC Champions Trophy final to create traffic awareness in the city.

The image with two cars behind a line on one side and Bumrah's no ball on the other carries a caption - "Don't cross the line. You know it can be costly".

Bumrah took to Twitter to express his displeasure with a tweet, posting a picture of the billboard, the 23-year-old wrote, “@traffic_jpr well done Jaipur traffic police this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country.”

The Jaipur police were forced to apologize the ‘death over’ specialist and they wrote, “ Dear @jaspritbumrah93, our intent was not to hurt your sentiments or the sentiments of millions of cricket fans. Our intent is to create more awarmness about the traffic rules. You are a youth icon and inspiration to all of us.”

Bumrah's no ball gave Pakistan's opener Fakhar Zaman an early life in the final of the Champions Trophy against India at The Oval on Sunday.

27-year-old Zaman went on to score 114 runs - his maiden ODI hundred in the all-important ICC Champions Trophy final. India lost the match by a massive 180-run margin.
