Here's What Both Captains Said During Toss
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain):
"We will bat first. So far we haven't batted first and will look to post a decent total on the board. Wherever we go, they always come to support us, and I think it's a privilege. We are really happy to have their support, no matter where we are playing. I'm feeling better, and I think if we play better cricket today, I'll feel even better. In the Asia Cup, we played some good cricket, but on one particular day, they outperformed us. We're sticking with the same eleven that played in that match."
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain):
"Actually I feel the condition is slow and low but we stick with our plans and hope we play our best cricket today. Yeah definitely, have to be fearless in the middle overs. During powerplay, we can go for the big shots but after that have to rotate the strike. We have one change. Hasini Perera misses out. Ama Kanchana comes in."
