India has already won the T20 series by winning the first two matches. It is highly likely that India might make a few changes in their playing 11 for the third and final T20I.
Sanju Samson, who was dismissed for a duck in the last game, might be dropped in favor of Shubman Gill, who missed the second match due to neck pain. If Samson is given another opportunity, Rishabh Pant might be rested. Also, all-rounder Shivam Dube could be given a chance, especially to test his bowling skills.
With the series already lost, hosts Sri Lanka too might make significant changes in their playing 11 from last game in an effort to win the final T20I to end on a high note. Dasun Shanaka could be dropped, with Dinesh Chandimal or Avishka Fernando potentially getting a chance. Ramesh Mendis and Dilshan Madhushanka might be included in the lineup.
