India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match on Saturday was called off due to rain, without a single ball bowled in the second innings. Pakistan bowled out India for 266 runs but could not start their chase as rain forced the blockbuster clash to be abandoned. As a result, both India and Pakistan shared a point. Pakistan, with 3 points, became the first team in Asia Cup 2023 to qualify to Super-4.

Meanwhile, a video of a Pakistani fangirl cheering for Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli is going viral on social media. 

"Virat Kohli is my favourite player," said Virat Kohli's fangirl from Pakistan in a video clip that has gone viral on the internet. When asked which team she supported, the fangirl said: "I am supporting Pakistan also." "This is Pakistan, this is India," said the girl after showing the flags of both countries on her cheeks.

"Padosiyon se pyaar karna koi buri baat toh nahi hai na (Loving the neighbours is not a bad thing, right?)," the girl said in the video.

Talking about Ind vs Pak Asia Cup 2023 match, century stand (138-run partnership) between Hardik Pandya (87) and Ishan Kishan (82) helped India put up a respectable 266-run total on board after Shaheen Afridi's fiery spell (4 wickets) caused bitter collapse in India's top-order.

Former India opener Gautam Gambhir opined the players to have their game face on, keep friendships away from the boundary ropes.

"When you play on the field for your national team, you must leave the friendship outside the boundary ropes. Having a game face is necessary. Friendship should stay outside" Gambhir was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.
