Southampton: There was hope for Indian fans at the start of play on Day 6 at the World Test Championship Final, but New Zealand bowlers had other plans. Indian wickets kept on tumbling. Ajinkya Rahane too fell cheaply. A video of a fan's reaction after Rahane's wicket is going viral. The reaction is perhaps every Indian fan's reaction on watching India's batting in the WTC Final.

Rahane has been facing troubles playing the short delivery. Just like the first innings, he was dismissed by a short ball in the second innings as well. It was an example of good captaincy by Kane Williamson who placed a fielder at short-leg, which is a catching position to pick out Rahane in 1st innings. While, in the second innings Rahane was caught behind, but again, of a short delivery.

Meanwhile, the Test match is currently tilting in favour of New Zealand as they needed 139 runs to win the last innings with nearly 50 overs to play with. If New Zealand win, it will be their first ICC Trophy. They were in the finals of 2015 and 2019 World Cup, but lost it to Australia and England.
