IND vs AUS, ICC Women's T2O World Cup: Australia Wins Toss, Invites India To Bat First At Sydney

Australian skipper Meg Lanning won the toss and elected to bowl first against India at the Sydney Showcase Ground in the tournament opener of the ICC T20 Women's Cup

Indian women's team will flag off their ICC Women's T2O World Cup campaign against Australia in the tournament opener to be played at the Sydney Showground Stadium in Sydney in some time from now. India have been placed with Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Group A of the marquee event which features 10 of the best team's in women's cricket. Both India and Australia come into the tournament on the back of winning their respective warm ups against South Africa and West Indies. Australia had beaten India in the last encounter played between the two sides in the Tri-Series final at Melbourne. Toss Update - Australian skipper won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Sydney Showcase Ground. Meg Lanning: We are gonna have a bowl today. There might be some showers so that's the reason.
