Chris Woakes Bowls Spin Vs Sri Lanka: Chris Woakes successfully steals and hogs the limelight on Day 2 of the ongoing England Vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test match at the Kennington Oval in London, as the all-rounder, who is originally a right-arm fast bowler, was forced to bowl spin during the match.
This was due to the fact that conditions and bad light are playing a spoilsport in this Test match, and the umpires did not permit the fast bowlers to bowl their quick ones, and therefore, the England pacer had to stick to spin bowling.

Sri Lanka Trail England By 114 Runs At Stumps On Day 2
The visitors are once again finding it extremely tough to prevail long enough in the English conditions, as England bowlers reduced Sri Lanka to half-a-side down at the score of 93, before unbeaten half-centuries from captain Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu restored stability.
However, the entire Day 2 was subject to bad light and few stoppages took place as well. The umpires had to call off the play in the last session, as the light and conditions were deemed too severe for the play to resume.
England will be pretty much happy with their overall performance in the Test match, as the home side registered 325 in their first innings, and given, if overcast conditions persist in the morning session of Day 3, Sri Lankan batters will be in huge trouble.
