David Warner Touches Bhuvneshwar Kumar's Feet Before SRH vs DC IPL 2023 Encounter, Video Goes Viral

Warner, who returned to his previous IPL home for this fixture and someone who has led SRH to IPL title in the past, was seen rushing to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and touching his feet.

David Warner received a warm welcome in Hyderabad before IPL 2023 encounter between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. Warner-led Delhi Capitals ended up winning this contest by 7 runs in the end. However, before the start of the match a hilarious banter between Warner and Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was caught on camera.

Warner, who returned to his previous IPL home for this fixture and someone who has led SRH to IPL title in the past, was seen rushing to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and toching his feet before the two hugged each other. This was moments after Bhuvi and Ishant Sharma were seen having a chat with each other.

The video of Warner's antics has gone viral on social media. "This visual is all 🧡 💙," the video shared by IPL's official social media handle was captioned.

Talking about the match, DC batted first and posted 144/9 which seemed to be an under-par score. However, they managed to defend that total and clinch the 2 points riding on Axar Patel's 2/21 after his run-a-ball 34. Anrich Nortje (2/33) and Ishant Sharma (1/18) were the stand-out performers for Delhi with the ball. In their batting innings, Manish Pandey (34 off 27) and Mitchell Marsh (25 off 15) were the other significant contributors apart from Axar.

After the match, SRH captain Aiden Markram slammed the team's batting intent, also lavishing massive praise for their bowlers saying how they did not deserve to be on the losing side. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was superb with the ball and scalped 2 for 11, while Washington Sundar picked (3/28) along with T Natarajan's 1 for 21 to keep DC down to a chasable total but their batters disappointed yet again.

Both Hyderabad and Delhi bave 4 points from 7 matches but SRH's net run rate of -0.725 is better than that of DC's -0.961.
