“It's a matter of great pride that former captain of the Indian cricket team Sourav Ganguly has accepted our proposal to be the Brand Ambassador of Tripura Tourism. I am confident that Sourav Ganguly's participation will definitely give an impetus to the state's tourism sector”, Tripura CM Manik Saha said.

The former BCCI president is considered to be one of the finest left-handers to have played the game. Currently, he is serving as the Director of Cricket of the IPL team, Delhi Capitals. Recently, the former India skipper was spotted batting in the nets ahead of the Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2023 clash.
Delhi Capitals took to their Twitter handle and shared a video where Dada was seen hitting some classic shots down the ground.

Talking about the Delhi Capitals stint, they are out of the playoffs race of the IPL 2023. Despite having a rough start to their campaign, they bounced back but then it was too late for them to find a spot in the playoffs. The Delhi-based franchise ended the season with 10 points in 14 games they played where they won only 5 games. As per the reports, from the next season, Delhi Capitals will be having a leaner coaching staff with head coach Ricky Ponting's future likely to be evaluated.
Currently, the Delhi Capitals coaching staff currently comprises of Sourav Ganguly as Director of Cricket, Ponting (head coach), James Hopes (assistant coach), Ajit Agarkar (assistant coach), Shane Watson (assistant coach), Pravin Amre (assistant coach), Biju George (assistant coach).
