Megan Schutt Gets Awarded Player Of The Match For Her Sensational 3-Wicket Haul
Megan Schutt delivered in the marqee match of their Group stage, as she created history by not only becoming the all-time leading wicket-taker in Women's T20 World Cups, but also delivering the best-ever 3-wicket haul in the history of the tournament.
"Yeah, I feel like I have lost a few litres. It was a crucial match for us and happy to get the win. Really ebbed and flowed in the first innings. When we started, felt like we could get 160. Left some out there in the middle but we did very well with the ball in the powerplay. I haven't changed much. Trying to do simple things and making full use of the conditions," said Megan Schutt.
"We had a pretty strong focus on the fitness coming into this tournament. We had S&C at the time and it has paid off. Only two games down and you can ask that after a week. We are focusing on enjoying small successes. For a lot of girls, this is their first World Cup. We are really taking it one game at a time," she added.
