AUS vs BANG, T20 LIVE: Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood Cut Through Bangladesh Batting

Background

T20 World Cup: The mighty Australians are back in action today. They will face, perhaps, the weakest team in the entire competition: Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Tigers have lost all their four matches in the Super 12 stage.

Australia, on the other hand, is very much in the fray for obtaining a place in the semi-final alongside England from Group 1. England has already qualified, thus, only one more team from Group 1 can qualify for the semis. South Africa is Australia's toughest rivals who are also looking in some brilliant bowling form.

The match will be played at the Dubai International Stadium at 3:30 pm IST.

Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first. This wasn't a very surprising decision from Aaron Finch as the teams winning the toss have decided to bowl first in this competition.

Australia would like to consolidate their position if they have to enter the semi-finals. It is almost a do-or-die match for Australia as South Africa also stand a great chance to qualify alongside England.

Bangladesh Playing XI: Mohammad Naim, Liton Das(w), Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah(c), Afif Hossain, Shamim Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

Australia Playing XI: David Warner, Aaron Finch(c), Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade(w), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood
