Ashamed to be a part of such society: Virat Kohli on Bengaluru mass molestation incident

New Delhi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli has lashed out on Bengaluru mass molestation incident. The 28-year-old took micro-blogging site twitter to express his anger on the incident which took place on the New Year’s Eve.

The aggressive Indian talisman posted a video calling the incident as disturbing and shocking.

“What happened in bengaluru is really really disturbing, to see something like that happen those girls and for people to watch it and not to do anything about it is cowardly act. Those people have not right to call themselves men.” Said Kohli

Kohli said, “Such incidents are not acceptable it’s disturbing and shocking.  I’m ashamed to be part of such society. I think we need to change our thinking; we need to treat men and women in the same way. Be respectful and treat women with compassion and as I said put yourself in that situation and think what if we were the family members of those girls how would we feel about it.”

New Year’s Eve turned out to be a nightmare for women Bengaluru’s MG road as they molested, pawed upon and lewd remarks were passed on them.
