Shaun Marsh becomes father of a baby boy, names him Austin Ross

New Delhi: Australia batsman Shaun Marsh and his wife Rebecca Marsh welcomed their first child on Saturday. The proud father, who opted out of Australia’s current Qantas tour of the West Indies for the birth, announced the arrival of baby Austin Ross Marsh on Instagram this morning. Marsh, who married Rebecca in a traditional ceremony during the Easter long weekend in April last year, said both mother and son were doing well. “Proud to announce the safe arrival of little Austin Ross Marsh born at 10.37pm last night, Bec was a superstar and our little man is just perfect, we love him so much already :)” Marsh wrote.

  Marsh was last seen in action during the recently concluded Indian Premier League in early May playing for his side Kings XI Punjab. Unfortunately, he could not stay with the franchise for the full tournament after he was ruled out with a back injury he picked up during the six-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders on April 19.
