AFG vs SCT, T20 Highlights: Mujeeb Ur Rahman's Fifer Help Afghanistan Crush Scotland By 130 Runs

Background

New Delhi: Taliban-ruled Afghanistan will lock horns with Scotland in the only match of the Super-12 stage of the T20 World Cup, set to be played today in Sharjah. Afghanistan was already in Super-12 but it was not an easy journey for Scotland as they reached the Super-12 by playing qualifying rounds. Both Afghanistan and Scotland have won 4 out of last 5 T20Is. This means if we take their recent performances into account then the competition between both the teams seem be equal. However, Scotland has showcased some remarkable form during their matches in the qualifying round.

In the qualifying round, underdogs Scotland won all three of their matches as they beat Bangladesh, Oman and Papua New Guinea. Scotland, a not very popular name in world cricket, looks fully prepared and fans might see a fierce competition between the two countries. However, the role of weather and pitch will also crucial in today's match.

Toss will be important for both the teams as dew in the second innings will have a bug impact on the match. The weather will be clear in Sharjah and there's no chance of rain. Humidity may increase in the evening which will trouble the players a bit.
