World Heart Day: Stroke and coronary artery disease are likely to be the major cardiovascular diseases in India by 2030. The projected prevalence of cardiovascular disease in 2030 is 5.26 per cent.

World Heart Day: Cardiovascular diseases are on the rise, especially among youngsters. The cardiovascular death rate in India in 2020 was 272 per 100,000 people, which is greater than the global average of 235, according to a study by the Global Burden of Disease.
