Super Blue Moon 2023: The biggest supermoon of the year is set to peak on August 31, 2023, but the Moon is appearing bright and large a night before the Super Blue Moon rises. This is because a supermoon always appears full through three days, from the night before the actual peak, to the night after. The supermoon of August 31 is known as the Super Blue Moon because it is the second supermoon to occur in August. The first supermoon this month occurred on August 2. Since it is rare to have two supermoons in a single month, the Moon is called the Super Blue Moon. This is the third and last supermoon of 2023, and also the last Super Blue Moon till 2037.
In India, visuals of the bright Moon are being witnessed a night before the Super Blue Moon. People from different Indian states have recorded videos of the rare event.
