2)According to Russia, the cap on oil prices "won't affect" Ukraine's "special military operation."

Farooq Abdullah was re-elected president of the National Conference (NC) for another term on Monday.The 85-year-old leader was unanimously elected the party's chief at the NC's delegate session 

2)India and Germany signed an agreement on the comprehensive migration and mobility partnership.

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on Monday signed an agreement on the comprehensive migration and mobility partnership with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Delhi.Both ministers held comprehensive talks in the national capital earlier in the day.

3)On a day the EU-G7-Australia price cap pact on Russian oil imports kicked in, EAM S Jaishankar defended India's stance, saying the EU imported six times more than India in the last 10 months.

Defending India’s energy imports from Russia, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday said that the European Union had imported more fossil fuel from Russia between February and November than the next 10 countries. He said it was six times what India had imported. Jaishankar made the comments after hosting a bilateral discussion with his visiting German counterpart on Monday.

In October, countries like Iran and Uzbekistan withdrew from the battle to host the continental championship, leaving just India and Saudi Arabia as contenders.

The film grossed around ₹ 2.52 CR. at the box office on Sunday. 'An Action Hero' total earnings now stands at ₹ 5.99 CR. in its first weekend.

3)Drishyam 2, Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Beats Lifetime Collection Of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ is unstoppable at the box office. The film has managed to surpass the lifetime collection of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and has ranked as the third highest Hindi grosser of the year after ‘Brahmastra’ (Hindi) and ‘The Kashmir Files’.   

Nifty closes in green mark due to buying in banking stocks

The first trading day of the week was full of ups and downs for the Indian stock market. But due to the return of buying from lower levels, Nifty has closed in the green mark with Sensex falling.
