Siraj's father Mohammed Ghaus passed away on 20 November. A week before Siraj's father died, the Indian team had reached Australia and unfortunately Siraj could not return home for his father's funeral due to Coronavirus protocols. Siraj has been included in India's 18-man squad for the first two Tests against England. He along with Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma will lead the Indian pace bowling attack.
