IPL 2021: Prithvi Shaw Becomes Second Batsman In IPL History To Hit Six Consecutive Fours In An Over

Delhi Capital's 21-year-old young explosive opener Prithvi Shaw continues to impress everyone with his performance in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Prithvi Shaw hammered 6 fours off Shivam Mavi's over, which was also the first over of Delhi Capitals' innings. After hitting Mavi for consecutive 6 fours, Shaw became the first player in IPL history to do so in the first over of an innings. (Photo: PTI) 

Earlier in 2012, Shaw's current DC teammate Ajinkya Rahane had also hit 6 fours in an over while playing for Rajasthan Royals. Rahane did it against RCB's Sreesanth Arvind and it was the 14th over of the innings. Rahane also scored an unbeaten century in that match. Apart from this, in 2013, Luke Wright also hit 6 fours in an over but it was across two overs. (Photo: PTI)
