Pakistan claim top spot in ICC T20 ranking

Steve Smith led Australia find themselves in the bottom half with 7th rank.

While, South Africa are below India in the chart and take 6th position.

This is the first time in T20 history that Pakistan is leading the points table

India, on the other hand, have retained 5th position and stand below England, who are fourth with 119 points

World champions West Indies are on third position.

Pakistan humiliated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the recently concluded T20 series and just needed a favour from the New Zealanders to climb to the top.

While, Paksitan have moved to top of the table with 124 points.

New Zealand’s loss to India in the opening encounter of the three-match T2-0 series has proved costly for the Kane Williamson led side.

The Kiwis have now slipped to second position in the ICC T20 ranking.
