Babar Azam reclaims top spot; Shadab jumps 10 places in latest T20I rankings

Knocks of 17, 97 not out and 51 helped Babar jump two places and reclaim the top spot for the second time in less than 10 weeks. Babar earned 95 points for his efforts against Windies putting him ahead of Munro and Maxwell. Babar now leads Munro by 80 points, while Maxwell is another two points behind.

In the bowlers’ chart Rashid Khan from Afghanistan has maintained his top spot followed by Pakistan’s Shadab Khan. India’s Yuzvendra Chahal slipped by a position an is now at number 3 position.

In the all-rounder’s category top three have remained unchanged. Australia’s Glenn Maxwell is at number one position followed by Afghanistan Mohammad Nabi and Shakib Al Hasan.

Virat Kohli has maintained his number 8 position in the T20 batsman rankings.

Pakistan opener Babar Azam on Wednesday reclaimed the number-one batting position in the latest ICC T20 Batting Ranking following the conclusion of Pakistan versus Windies series in Karachi on Tuesday.

Babar was adjudged ‘player of the series’ in the recently concluded T20 series against West Indies which Pakistan won 3-0.
