1. Jaundice- Children with jaundice may notice a yellowish tinge to their skin, mucous membranes, and the whites of the eyes. It usually indicates a problem with the liver or bile ducts. (Image source: getty images)

2. Abdominal pain- When fluid builds up in the abdomen it causes pain or tenderness in the upper right area that is one of the sign that should not be ignored. (Image source: getty images)

3. Brain problems- A few behavioral changes like confusion, irritability, unusual sleepiness during the day, or sleeplessness at night (encephalopathy) can also indicate liver problems in children. (Image source: getty images)
