TRP Report: Kundali Bhagya, Bigg Boss 14 Or Anupamaa, Which Show Topped The Charts In Week 40?

The BARC TRP ratings for week 40 of 2020 have been finally released. The ratings were released on Friday instead of the usual Thursday. While the old shows have maintained their rankings, Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 14' failed to find a spot in the list of top rated shows in week 40. Just like 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 12', 'BB 14' also couldn't perform well on the weekdays despite getting a good start on weekends.

Although, 'Bigg Boss 14' contestants are leaving no stone unturned to impress the viewers, the Toofani Seniors are still dominating the show. If we compare the opening TRPs of 'Bigg Boss 13' and 'Bigg Boss 14', the last season performed better.

Old is gold and 'Kumkum Bhagya' proves this saying. Despite completing over 6 years, the show has managed to remain the favourite of the viewers. The regular twist and turns have helped 'KKB' in securing the number three spot. The show stars Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia in lead roles.

Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer 'Anupamaa' has emerged as the most successful show of 2020. The daily soap has dominated the 10pm slot since its launch. The show has claimed the number two spot in the latest set of ratings.
