Malayalam actor Meera Nandan on Wednesday announced her engagement with Sreeju - a London-based accountant. She also posted a series of pictures from her big day on her Instagram.

According to the Times of India, the couple met through a matrimonial site and hit it off instantly.

The engagement ceremony was held in Kochi among family and friends.

Meera wore a yellow silk saree, green blouse and flowers in her hair. She completed her look with gold jewellery.

Sreeju was dressed in a white silk kurta pyjama.

Meera posted the pictures with the caption, “For life,” and added an infinity sign.

The photographer of the ceremony also posted pictures and wrote, “Love, arranged to perfection! From a matrimonial site to the promise of forever, Meera and Sreeju have come a long way. After the state where parents talk among themselves, Sreeju flew from London to Dubai to meet who would become the most important person in his life; his partner for eternity and beyond. The rest of the story goes like any other, yet rich in its uniqueness – they meet, they fall in love, and they decide to spend the rest of their lives together. Here’s to being newly engaged.”

The engagement ceremony was attended by her friends from the movie industry including Kavya Madhavan, Ann Augustine, and Srinda.

Meera made her acting debut with Lal Jose's Mulla. She went on to work in films like ‘Puthiya Mukham’, and ‘Seniors.’
