Tennis player Sania Mirza, who recently announced her retirement, travelled to Medina with her family ahead of Ramadan to offer prayers.

Sania took to Instagram and shared a few pictures with her family. She captioned the pictures, "Allhamdulillah 🤲🏽 May Allah accept our prayers .."

Sania was accompanied by her son Izhaan Mirza Malik, parents--Imran Mirza and Nasima Mirza, sister Anam Mirza and her husband Mohammed Asaduddin.

Sania held son Izhaan's hand as they stood on a field where mountains were seen in the background.

The Tennis player also clicked a photo with her sister Anam's daughter.

Her sister Anam too shared some pics, saying, "There is indescribable peace & joy here! So grateful to be here. Alhamdulillah x 100".

Sania’s friend Huma Qureshi and TV actor Rakshanda Khan commented on the post. While Huma posted several heart emojis, Rakshanda said, "May Allah accept all your duas!"

Many users also commented asking about her husband-cricketer Shoaib Malik. "Where is Shoaib Malik?", asked one user. "Just that Shoaib brother is not in it," wrote another user.
