On Saturday, October 12 Sridevi chowk was inaugurated in Lokhandwala, Mumbai to honour the late actor.

Boney Kapoor and other celebs officially inaugurated Sridevi Chowk today, at 6 PM.

The event was attended by political leaders and colleagues of Sridevi, highlighting her impact on the film industry.

Shabana Azmi, a renowned veteran actor, joined Sridevi's family at the launch.

Photos from the event captured Boney expressing his emotions as he folded his hands in front of Sridevi's portrait.

Sridevi's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor was also there with her father.

The memorial stone bears the name Sridevi Kapoor Chowk, in her honour.

The chowk is situated at a junction near Sridevi’s longtime residence, Green Acres Tower, where she lived for many years before her passing in 2018.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor was absent from the inaugural ceremony.
