The association of Bollywood and Holi festival goes a very long way. With several Bollywood films incorporating songs based on Holi, movies have lent a different flavour to the festival. There have been several films that have also romanticised Holi. Here are some of them that have popular scenes associated with the festival.

RAANJHANAA: This particular sequence from the film where the character of Sonam Kapoor applies gulaal on Kundan’s (played by Dhanush) face, the moment is shown as cute and romantic. BADRI KI DULHANIA: The holi song shows the actor Varun Dhawan pursuing the actress Alia Bhatt and applies colour in a rather problematic manner.
