The final journey of legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri who passed away on Tuesday night has begun and the funeral will take place shortly at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Santacruz.

The latest visual outside Lahiri’s residence shows a large truck decorated with flowers with a huge poster of Bappi Da, the truck will carry his mortal remains to the crematorium.

Bappi Da's son Bappa and other relatives were seen carrying the mortal remain of the singer to the truck for the last rites.

Bappi Lahiri's last rites will take place today at Pawan Hans crematorium in Santacruz, Mumbai.

The funeral procession of Bappi Lahiri has already left his residence, his mortal remains were brought to his Mumbai home on Wednesday noon from Juhu’s CritiCare Hospital
