There are eight check-in counters, ensuring efficient and expedited check-in processes for passengers. The terminal includes a spacious concessionaire area spanning 850 square meters, providing a wide variety of retail and dining choices for travellers. To enhance accessibility and ease of navigation for passengers with visual impairments, tactile paths have been implemented. (Image: PIB)

The new terminal building at Kanpur Airport's civil enclave incorporates several sustainability features, including a double insulated roofing system, energy-saving canopies, LED lighting, low heat gain double glazing units, rainwater harvesting for groundwater recharge, water treatment and sewage treatment plants, utilization of recycled water for landscaping, and a 100 KWp solar power plant.
