A lot of new cars are set to launch in coming months, but the all-important sub-Rs 15 lakh space holds the most promise. From EVs to sedans via new SUVs, take a look at what is in store for buyers.

The Fronx is the other new SUV planned for India along with the Jimny. The Fronx would be an SUV slotted below the Brezza. It is based on the Baleno but comes with an all-new design language plus it will get a new turbo petrol engine too. The Fronx has an SUV coupe-like design too which is a talking point. Alongside the 1.0 turbo petrol, there would be a 1.2l petrol with an AMT too.

New Hyundai Verna: The new Verna is coming next month with a launch planned for the 21st of March. The new Verna leads with an all-new design language along with an all-new interior as well along with lots of new features. The new generation Verna is much bigger now and comes with a radical design language. For India, there would be a new 1.5l turbo petrol which would join a new 1.5l petrol engine too. Maruti Suzuki Jimny: The much-awaited Jimny from Maruti lands in May this year and will be one of the most talked about launches. We saw the Jimny in its 5-door production avatar at the Auto Expo. For India, Maruti Suzuki has extensively reworked and made the Jimny a more practical 5-door rather than a 3-door which the international markets have seen. Citroen eC3: Citroen will launch the electric C3 in India and it follows up the petrol version. The eC3 will aim to be an affordable electric car while being squarely aimed at the Tata Tiago EV. There are not many changes over the petrol C3 in terms of design but there is nothing that was needed in the first place. The eC3 has a 29.2kWh battery pack with a range of 143Nm.
