The RS 457 has a 6-speed gearbox and has a Quickshifter as an option with a slip-and-assist clutch. The 41 mm fork has 120 mm travel and preload adjustability while the monoshock, working on the steel swingarm, is adjustable in preload, for 130 mm wheel travel. The braking system features a 320 mm front disc with a ByBre radial-mount 4-piston caliper.
