Woman In Bihar Runs Away With Another Man, Husband Takes Revenge By Marrying Her Lover's Wife

In a bizarre incident, a married woman from Bihar's Khagaria district ran away with another man and her husband married her lover's wife to seek revenge.

According to ETV Bharat, the woman named Ruby Devi, got married to a man named Neeraj in 2009. The couple also had four children together. But a few years later, Ruby's husband Neeraj found out that his wife was having an extra-marital affair with a man named Mukesh.

Ruby and Mukesh finally married each other in February, 2023. Neeraj soon got to know about their marriage and filed a complaint in the local police station against Mukesh for kidnapping his wife.

Neeraj said that a village panchayat was held to resolve the matter but Mukesh, who also had two children out of the wedlock from his first marriage, didn’t agree and has been on the run since then, reported the news outlet.

After Neeraj's wife eloped with her lover, he decided to marry Mukesh's wife whose name interestingly was also Ruby. Neeraj got in touch with Mukesh’s wife and started an affair and tied the knot in February 2023 at a local temple at the village. 

Unlike Mukesh and Ruby’s marriage, Neeraj’s relationship was approved by the family members of the bride. 

The news of the bizarre marriages immediately caught the attention of internet users.

''It was all Ruby devi's husband's plan from the start to marry Mukesh's wife,'' wrote one user. "Ruby devi's Husband: Thukra ke mera pyar, mera intekaam dekhegi", wrote another user.

''Married people are eloping with each other and here I'm still single,'' said another.

While another added, "Their kids will be so confused!!"
