Fish Served To Customer At Restaurant In Japan Comes Alive, Bites Chopstick

Have you ever experienced your food coming alive at a restaurant? Sounds terrifying and disgusting, right. But this is what exactly happened at a restaurant in Japan. In the video that has gone viral on the internet, a fish served at the restaurant came alive and firmly grabbed the customers chopstick leaving them aghast.

The clip shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter by user @OTerrifying opens to a plate of raw fish and salad served to a customer at a Japanese restaurant. And as the customer proceeds to eat the dish with chopsticks, the fish opens its mouth and firmly grabs the chopstick. The video was originally posted in February 2022 by Instagram user Takahiro.

Since being reposted, the video has amassed a whopping 9.5 million views, 71.2k likes and several comments.

After watching the video one of the user wrote, "It’s something to do with the nerve system in the fish however, there’s no way I would even contemplate ordering or eating anything like this."

"That looks incredibly dangerous. Ive been in the culinary business for over 20 years, and never before have I ever served something living. It’s too much of a Liability and danger. Please make sure your food is cooked thoroughly," wrote another user. 

"That really is the most unappetising plate of food, not to mention cruel!" wrote a third.

"Glad I never ate meat or will eat. Like my veggies and lentils," wrote a fourth.
