US: People are BURNING their NIKE shoes, apparels and here is WHY
In a wave of reaction to its latest ad campaign, people started burning their Nike apparels and posting the images and videos of burning shoes, tee-shirts and ripped off socks.
@Nike Bye, you might be cute but clearly you have no brains. Sorry, I don't have a firepit but I'm sure Goodwill is more accepting then I am! #BoycottNike #NikeBoycott #JustDont #JustWalkAway #JustBurnIt #BurnYourNikes #ScrewNike #Standbytheflag #SupportLEO #Supportourveterans pic.twitter.com/zteAuUa9rd

There were many who commended Nike for standing for what it believed in, including Tennis star Serena Williams who signed onto the new ad campaign alongside Kaepernick. Former C.I.A. director John O. Brennan also showed support to Nike.@Nike @Kaepernick7 @nikestore I never really liked your over-priced, low performance shoes anyway but here are your crappy shirts back someone gave me.#burnyournikegear #BurnYourNikes #BurnBabyBurn #notmypaycheck#boycottnike #BoycottNikeJustDoIt#BoycottNFL #AmericaFirst pic.twitter.com/YzUP4ZkEQS

Colin Kaepernick drew our collective attention to the problem of continued racial injustice in America. He did so not to disrespect our flag but to give meaning to the words of the preamble of our Constitution—“in order to form a more perfect union.” Well done, Colin, well done. https://t.co/4ALyUxLjM5
