'Mother Of All Bombs': Death toll jumps to 94
Kabul: The death toll in the ‘mother of all bombs’ by US on ISIS terrorists in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province has jumped to 94 on Saturday.
The death toll of Islamic State (IS) militants killed when the US military dropped a massive GBU-43 bomb or the "mother of all bombs", in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province has increased to 90, an official confirmed on Saturday.
The death toll was confirmed to the British Broadcasting Corporation by an official of the region who also said no the attack didn’t claim a single civilian life so far.
The 10-tonne GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance non-nuclear Air Blast bomb or MOAB was dropped on Thursday to destroy the caves held by the ISIS fighters on Achin district.

On Friday the death toll was reported to be 36.
The death toll is likely to rise further. The US has over 8,000 troops in Afghanistan and it estimates at least 600-800 ISIS fighters are involved in the warfare.
On Friday, the office of President Ashraf Ghani said there was "close coordination" between the U.S. military and the Afghan government on the operation, and were ensuring to prevent any civilian casualties.
