Iran Warns US Intervention Could Spark 'All-Out War' In Region

Iran warns that U.S. involvement in Israel’s strikes could trigger an all-out regional war, as tensions rise and disrupted flights leave thousands of Israelis stranded abroad.

In a chilling warning that raises the stakes in an already volatile conflict, Iran’s foreign ministry has cautioned that any move by the United States to step into the ongoing Israeli attacks could trigger a full-scale war across the region.

Esmail Baghaei, the ministry’s spokesperson, delivered the warning during a live appearance on Al Jazeera English—his first public comments since the latest wave of violence erupted.

“Any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region,” Baghaei stated, delivering a blunt message that underscores growing fears of a broader military escalation.

Tensions have been building rapidly, with U.S. President Donald Trump initially keeping some distance from Israel’s offensive actions. However, his recent comments suggest a shift in stance. He’s hinted at a more assertive role for Washington, declaring he wants something “much bigger” than a simple ceasefire.

As Washington ramps up its military presence—deploying additional warplanes to the area—concerns are mounting over the potential for a wider confrontation involving major regional and global powers.

Meanwhile, the ripple effects of the conflict are being felt far beyond the battlefield. Thousands of Israeli citizens have found themselves stranded overseas, as disrupted air travel continues to throw international flight routes into chaos.
