Afghanistan: Another Blast Rocks Kabul. 5 Dead, 20 Injured

New Delhi: A blast killed at least five and left more than 20 injured in PD6 in Kabul on Friday, security officials confirmed, Afghan news channel TOLO News reported.
As per the report by TOLO, the blast took place in the Darul-Aman area of Kabul. A spokesperson for the Kabul security department, Khalid Zadran said that at least five people were killed in the blast and more than 20 were wounded.
Earlier, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said that there were more than 20 people who suffered harm from the blast. As per the reports, those injured and dead were worshipers at the Mosque.
“20 wounded people received at our hospital so far," Emergency NGO said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the witnesses of the blast have claimed that the number of casualties is high.
No one has claimed the responsibility for the blast as yet, TOLO News reported.

Spate Of Blasts In Kabul
This is not the first blast in the last few days in Kabul. On April 19, a bomb blast on a school in western Kabul killed six and injured 11.
Zadran had told AFP that the blasts at the Abdul Rahim Shahid school were caused by improvised explosive devices and left at least six people dead and 11 wounded.
"These are preliminary figures. We are at the site and waiting for more details," he had said.
Another blast at the Pul-e-Khishti mosque on April 6 injured six people as a hand grenade was thrown during the time of afternoon prayers.
On April 3 another blast caused by a hand grenade killed one person and injured 59 others in Kabul.
Kabul has been the center of a spate of blasts recently after the Taliban takeover of August 2021.
