Kawasaki has launched the Vulcan S in ‘Pearl Lava Orange’ at a premium of Rs 10,400 over the standard variant, which is priced at Rs 5,48,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). Launched in December 2017, the Vulcan S was initially offered with a black paint scheme. The advent of the new color is mainly due to the positive response received from customers for the cruiser.

It’s equipped with a 649 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out 61PS of power and 63Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed transmission transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.

Under the skin of the Vulcan S lies a high-tensile strength perimeter-frame equipped with 41mm telescopic forks at the front and an offset rear suspension. Braking duties are handled by a single 300mm disc at the front and 250mm disc at the rear.

Customers can book the Vulcan S in its new livery at any Kawasaki dealership across the country. The mid-size cruiser competes against the Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750 (Rs 5.86 lakh) and Street 750 (Rs. 4.91 lakh all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

India Kawasaki has introduced Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour for India market. When the Vulcan S was launched in December 2017, it was available only in black colour. The introduction of a new colour is mainly due to the positive response received from the customers to the existing model.

On this occasion Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said “Vulcan S is that type of motorbike which defines a particular lifestyle. In such type of products colour of the motorcycle plays a vital role. The Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour is available only in few countries. So bringing it in India shows commitment of Kawasaki towards the Indian market.”

It is different than any other cruiser mainly because of its powerful, yet easy-to-control engine, easy manoeuvring, light weight yet stable, highway riding and good fuel economy. While the Vulcan S in black is available for INR 5,48,400 ex-showroom Delhi, the orange Vulcan S is priced at INR 5,58,400 ex-showroom Delhi. The bookings are open and customers can visit the nearest showroom for more details.
