Ashok Gehlot Flags Spike In Covid Cases In China, Asks Govt To Control Passenger Movement
China is facing the highest surge in covid cases since the initial days of the pandemic as the cases doubled up on Sunday reaching 3,400.
New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday expressed concern over the rapidly increasing cases of COVID-19 in China and suggested the central government to consider controlling passenger movement from China. Gehlot tweeted, "There has been a rapid increase in Covid cases in China. When Covid cases worldwide have decreased, a rise in cases in China is worrying as the virus emerged from there two years ago".

“Seeing the situation in China, the Central government should consider controlling the movement from there. Learning from the past three Covid waves, there should be no negligence,” he added
