India summoned the highest-ranking British diplomat in Delhi following the incident and demanded an explanation for the "complete absence of security" at the mission.
Kwatra said in response to a question from the media at a briefing that the British deputy high commissioner had been summoned, and India wanted the people responsible for what happened in London on Sunday to be "arrested and prosecuted" quickly.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released a statement on the subject on Sunday night, which the foreign secretary cited.
However, he did not respond to a question regarding reports of protesters supporting Khalistan attacking the Indian Consulate in San Francisco.
