New Special Edition Cars: redi-GO Limited Edition, Jeep Compass Bedrock, Honda City Edge And More

If standing out among a sea of cars scores high on your priority list, then here’s a bunch of special edition cars for you. Although these are not limited in production, they are usually kept in the roster for a limited period. Usually, most manufacturers start doling out special editions at the onset of the festive season and this year’s been no different.

The changes on the special edition cars include updates to their features list, cosmetic updates and sometimes, even colour-coded interiors. However, all of this comes at a price as manufacturers usually charge a premium for the special editions. Here’s a look at some of the special edition models that are on sale currently.

Datsun redi-GO Limited Edition’2018 Launched; Price Rs 3.58 Lakh

redi-GO Limited Edition

Ford EcoSport Signature Edition

Ford introduced the Signature Edition and the S variant of the Ford EcoSport at the same time a couple of months ago. But unlike the S, which gets an engine swap, the Signature edition just gets added features. Although most of its features are shared with the Titanium variant, it gets valuable additions such as an electric sunroof, front grille with chrome surround, diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels, black fog lamp bezels, body graphics, rear spoiler and roof rails. Inside the cabin, it features cosmetic enhancements such as blue stitching on the seats and accents on the centre console and instrument cluster. The price to pay for all this is a steep Rs 86,000 for the petrol variant and Rs 1 lakh for the diesel one. Is it a sensible choice considering the premium? See what we think here.
