ITA Awards 2022: ABP News Bags Award For Best Hindi News Channel

Speaking on the occasion of the 21st ITA award ceremony, prime news anchor of ABP News, Sumit Awasthi thanked all the viewers for supporting the channel and help it win the title.

New Delhi: In the 21st edition of the Indian Television Award, ABP News has bagged the ITA award for the best Hindi news channel this year.

Speaking on the occasion of the 21st ITA award ceremony, prime news anchor of ABP News, Sumit Awasthi thanked all the viewers for supporting the channel.

Awasthi, speaking on behalf of the hindi news channel, said, “Thank you everyone for watching and liking ABP News. So far, we have always kept you ahead with our news coverage but today, you helped us outshine the other channels through your votes.”

“I am thankful to my entire team – our proprietors, our bosses, colleagues, the team members, reporters, my producers, the cameramen, the editors – I thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart,” Awasthi said, adding, “every individual, their love, efforts and the unwavering faith on the channel, have helped us achieve this prestigious award today. Bagging the ITA award for the best hindi news channel is incredible and a very proud moment for all of us.”

Meanwhile, Shobhna Yadav from ABP News has received the ITA award for the category of best anchor. Also, the ABP News show ‘Mathrubhumi’ has bagged the award for the best news and current affairs show.

Yadav received the award on behalf of the team of Mathrubhumi.
