'We Forgive Them & They Become Normal Citizens': Imran Khan On Pakistani Taliban
The TTP is a group that is popularly known as the Pakistani Taliban also. it is separate from Afghanistan Taliban, but has its links to the Afghanistan Taliban.
In a big revelation, Imran Khan said that Pakistan is willing to forgive Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The Pakistan Prime Minister was talking to TRT World where he pointed out that he does not prefer a military solution and his government is in talks with the Taliban.
The TTP is a group that is popularly known as the Pakistani Taliban also. it is separate from Afghanistan Taliban, but has its links to the Afghanistan Taliban.
"There are different groups which form the TTP and some of them want to talk to our government for peace. So, we are in talks with them. It’s a reconciliation process," Imran Khan said during an interview with the TRT World. "There are different groups which form the TTP, so we are in touch with some of the groups," he added.
The Pakistan Prime Minister also said that the Afghanistan Taliban are also helping them in the process as the talks are taking place in Afghanistan.

Imran Khan said that if the TTP is willing to lay down their arms, his government will forgive them and accept them as "normal civilians". "Yes, we forgive them and they become normal citizens," the Pak PM said.
Pakistani prime minister, who formed the government with the army's support, said on Saturday that he is averse to military solutions. “I am anti-military solution, and as a politician, I believe political dialogue is the way ahead.”
The picture will be completely clear when the TTP speaks out on the issue.
