VIRAL VIDEO: SUV of an alleged Hindu Yuva Vahini activist knocks down a biker

New Delhi: A video of an SUV mowing down a motorcycle in Uttar Pradesh has gone viral on social media sites. According to passers-by heard in the video, the car which has an Uttar Pradesh number plate and a sticker of right-wing outfit 'Hindu Yuva Vahini' rammed a biker and dragged the bike for over 100 meters. The rider of the bike, however, is not seen in the video but was said to be lying at the red light where the alleged accident took place. The driver of the vehicle wearing a white dotted shirt and a saffron cloth around his neck is seen checking the damage done to his vehicle. The man tramples the bike with his car and leaves the spot unbothered with the whole episode. The car has a Noida registration number (UP 16BL 2333). The video holds importance as the man involved in the accident belongs to a Hindu hardliner group formed by CM Yogi Adityanath in 2002. The controversial outfit was in the news recently for thrashing a couple of days ago on suspicion of 'love jihad'.
