After MP Pee-Gate, Video Of Man Urinating On Drunk Friend In Uttar Pradesh Goes Viral

An argument broke out between two friends after which one urinated on the other. Two people have been arrested in the case.

After widespread outrage over the urination incident in Madhya Pradesh, a similar incident took place in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. A video purpotedly showing a man urinating on another went viral on social media. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, police said, PTI reported.

The incident took place in Sonbhadra district's Jugail area on July 11, according to a PTI report.

The accused and the victim were good friends and they had an argument after consuming alcohol on July 11. In the heat of the moment, Jawahar Patel allegedly assaulted Gulab Kol before urinating on his ears, Superintendent of Police Yashveer Singh told police.

Since the victim was drunk, he didn’t realise what was happening. However, someone shot a video of the incident and posted it on social media, following which it went viral.

Kol has lodged a complaint in this regard and an FIR is being registered, reported PTI. Police has arrested Jawahar Patel and his accomplice.

The incident follows the arrest of one Pravesh Shukla in Madhya Pradesh for allegedly urinating on Dashmat Rawat, who belongs to a tribal community.

Shukla has been slapped with the stringent National Security Act (NSA) besides being booked under relevant charges under the IPC and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. An alleged illegal portion of the house belonging to Shukla in Sidhi was also demolished.

Last week, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan washed the feet of the victim at the CM's residence in Bhopal and also apologised to him over the incident.

The government also sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the victim and provided an additional sum of Rs 1.5 lakh for the construction of his house.

The incident has triggered a political controversy in Madhya Pradesh, where Assembly polls are due by the year-end. Congress has alleged that the accused was linked to a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator and called the CM's act of washing the feet of the victim "mere drama".

The BJP has, however, denying its connection with Shukla.
